Global Missions Program

Similar to the university program, this program offers a chance to travel abroad and volunteer. We facilitate small groups who travel to one of our partner communities to engage in volunteer work and learn about the reality of life for local residents there. Based on the concept of a "mission trip", our emphasis for this program is on educating the team about poverty and the systemic unjust situations the majority of the world's populations face while exploring God's heart for justice.

The trip abroad can be facilitated from 10 days up to a month, with team orientation (travel safety, cultural sensitivity, team building) and debriefing in Canada. While abroad the team participates in volunteer work at an orphanage or building project, as well as educational activities that examine God's thoughts towards injustices and encourage compassion for people around the world and back at home.
